Features

With the basic VoiceGlobe service, you can use your broadband connection for your telephony services to call other Voiceglobe users for free, to call any regular phone number worldwide with a significant savings, and receive calls to your Voiceglobe VoIP Telephony line at any time no matter where you are located. But, you may need to pay extra for any additional services beyond Voice Mail depending upon the service that you desire.

The 8-digit Voiceglobe SIP number you receive with your account is generated automatically, assigned to any new Voiceglobe subscriber at no cost, and cannot be selected. However, any Voiceglobe subscriber can request additional phone numbers, available in several countries and cities acquired by Voiceglobe, at a minimal monthly fee. In most of the Voiceglobe calling plans a phone number could be selected in one of the countries covered by the plan without any additional cost.

The Voiceglobe Softphone is not compatible with Macs at this time.

Performance

Generally, the best results with Voiceglobe are obtained with upstream and downstream bandwidths greater than 128 kb/s in both directions. Voiceglobe service will not interfere with your ability to go onto the Internet, and it will route incoming and outgoing voice calls alongside incoming and outgoing data from your computer. You can make and receive calls while you use your computer to access the Internet, as well as when your computer is off or not connected to the Internet. The way our service works is that it routes your incoming and outgoing voice calls right alongside the data being sent to or from your computer.
