Installation and Interface
PCCall PC users with PC-based computers need to have a Pentium 75 Mhz PC or higher with 64 MB RAM or more. PCCall works with virtually all Windows environments and an Internet connection of 14.4 Kbps or greater (although 28.8 Kbps is strongly recommended). The PCCall Dialer is available for free once you register with the service. MAC users require a PowerPC601 80 Mhz or higher, PowerPC603 or 604 120 Mhz or higher. You also will need 16 MB RAM or higher, system 7.6.1 or later, and a 28,800 baud or faster modem if used with PPP. As with PC users, the PCCall Dialer is available for free once you register with the service. It takes from a few hours up to one full business day to process applications for PCCall services. PCCall verifies each application by hand, to ensure the security of your information and deny those fraudulent applications that may compromise the integrity of their secure system structure. PCCall has one of the lowest percent fraud of all businesses on the Internet. Once you are approved to download the software, the installation is quick and easy and you can begin to make calls immediately after making a sound check to verify that your mic and speakers are working properly.
