Within minutes the new customer can install the device and activate it. If he/she runs into any trouble, Packet8’s qualified customer support team is just a phone call away.

Their Hosted PBX solutions are also very simple to install and activate. Business owners can do it themselves by following the step by step instructions that are mailed with the equipment. Configuration of the system is done entirely online with Packet8’s website walking a business owner through each step. Professional installation services are also available if a business owner wants a Technical Account Manager to handle all of the details.

Features

Packet8’s residential service comes with many features that other phone companies charge for. Call waiting, call forwarding and voicemail are all included for free with basic service. One of the most popular features for residential customers is the “Find Me, Follow Me” service that automatically routes calls to alternate numbers and cell phones if the home phone isn’t picked up.
