Installation and Interface

ITP offers a free VoiP adapter with each account. This adapter connects an existing telephone to the cable or DSL modem, allows customers to make calls using his/her own existing Internet connection. The easy setup allows customers to make the switch on your own, with no costly installation fees or service technicians in the home. The Internet and phone share a broadband connection, making it possible for customers to use both at the same time. Customer Service technicians are available 24/7 to help new customers with his/her installation and other needs.

Features

There are a variety of ITP plans available to meet the residential or home office needs. A family or company can choose the options and calling plan that work for them, and customize to suit their needs. Services available include: optional fax or e fax lines, toll free numbers, calling cards, and more. Customers can even add an international virtual number, allowing them to make international calls as if they were local.

A host of features also come standard with the plans, including call waiting, caller ID, voice mail, call forwarding, call transfer, and free in-network calling. Customers have the ability to keep their existing number or add a custom virtual number with the area code of your choice.

911 Service is not supported by ITP, however, and the terms and conditions clearly state that “You acknowledge and understand that the Service does NOT support traditional 911 or E911 access to emergency services.” Customers are able to call 911 from the phone, but in the case of a power outage or service suspension, the service is not available as it is with a traditional phone service or mobile service.
