Each IP phone will come with its own set of directions. The directions that the user follows will ultimately depend on the type of set up he/she will have. The directions will include releasing the IP address, connecting the adaptor, connecting the LAN cable, and investigating for a dial tone.

If the user is just connecting to a cable model instead he/she will need to release the IP address, connect the LAN cable between the PC port and the PC, and listen for a dial tone. There will be complete instructions in the Ifoon phone you order.

It is also possible to make several account changes without having to go through a time-consuming customer service process. This includes getting call records and addition more lines to his/her account.

Ifoon also allows the user to set different ring tones for each different number. This creates an easy to use system for busy people who have more than one.

One of the numbers on the account can be the user’s existing phone line. It can be a hassle to change numbers and keep friends, family, and business partners updated so Ifoon makes it easy to keep one’s number.

Additional features include those that are expected of a good VoIP company like Caller ID, Call Transfer, Call Waiting, 3 Way Calling, and other options. Since Ifoon is constantly improving its service customers can expect changes and additions to these.
